Have you ever thought about being an AWS volunteer?

We need your help! Volunteers are needed for:

• walking and playing with the dogs and cats
• Cleaning cat cages at the Ranson Petco store
• transporting animals to the vets and to our local adoption outlets in Ranson
• picking up pet supplies and food  (a small pickup or SUV would be helpful for this job)
• daily care and cleaning for the animals at the shelter
• fundraising and public relations activities (e.g., flower sales, yard sales, special events, grant writing, articles for newspapers and newsletters)
• raffle ticket sales and special event ticket sales
• posting special events flyers
• general repairs, maintenance and improvements at the shelter
• fostering kittens, cats, puppies, dogs
• etc. etc. etc. etc.
