The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County will hold its annual meeting from 1 PM to 3PM on November 14, 2026, at the Shepherdstown Public Library. All members of the Animal Welfare Society and the general public are invited to attend and learn more about how AWSJC serves the community and helps the homeless cats and dogs in our area.

AWSJC is a charitable/nonprofit organization established under IRS Code 501(c)(3). We are proud to say that all Board of Directors are and have always been unpaid volunteers who work tirelessly to carry out and expand the mission that was established 74 years ago.
